Human Resources Club

With a view to align the students with the international HR practices and policies, NSU HR Club was founded on March 2015. Attached to the management department, the club intends to become the bridge between the students and their corporate life. NSU HR Club will focus on connecting the students with the corporate world by meticulously handling the flow of information through different learning sessions and competitions. The whole operation of the Club is about grooming our members with HR knowledge and experience before they step out in the corporate world. That is, "Explore yourself before exploring the world," and we do it in the NSU HR Club.

Starting from the scratch with only 3 members, North South University Human Resource Club is now the home of around 300 potential young professionals who are enthusiast learners. The members of the club have been able to organize a series of successful events such as, "HR Speaks Out", "NSU Accreditation Seminar", "Corporate Archer – How Do They Do It" "HR Calibration, "HR Speaks Out 2.0", Member Development Program (MDP), "HR Calibration 2.0", etc. All of the events were very successful and was a pathway for the cub to grow more.

"HR Speaks Out-2.0" was the first event to be organized in the fiscal year 2017-18 for the club. The event was a seminar on the contemporary knowledge of Human Resource practices in the corporate arena. Currently the focusing on training its members to improve their efficiency in various organizational skills and managerial skills. For this, the club had organized "Member Development Program" where the members had a one-to-one session with corporate leaders. In Summer’18 NSU HR CLUB had organized the second season of one of its major events, "HR Calibration 2.0", an inter university HR based competition which was executed with the aim to help students to connect the theories with corporate world.
