Ms. Afrin Rifat has been teaching at NSU at the undergraduate level since September 2012. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from North South University and Masters Degree in Banking and Finance from University of Essex, UK in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Research interests: Accounting policies, financial statement analysis and decision-making, banking strategies, capital market, and empirical research methods in finance and country specific studies.

Courses taught: Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACT 201), Introduction to Managerial Accounting (ACT 202), and Managerial Accounting (ACT 333)
