Ms. Mabel joined School of Business and Economics of North South University (NSU) as a Lecturer in September 2013 and currently teaches introductory and intermediate accounting courses. Previously she has taught Business Communication course to undergrad students. Before joining NSU she taught in Faculty of Business and Law, Leeds Beckett University (former Leeds Metropolitan University), U.K. as Part-Time Lecturer for 2 academic years (September 2011 to June 2013). The modules taught included Accounting for Management, Business Data Analysis, Business Context and Introduction to Managerial Finance of first and second year undergraduate students.

She has achieved merit in Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from University of Leeds, Leeds, UK in the year 2011. In 2008 she was awarded the scholastic award Summa Cum Laude by North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh for successful completion of Bachelor of Business Administration (dual major in Finance and Human Resource Management).

She has worked in National Bank Limited as Probationary Officer in Human Resource Department and completed her internship at HSBC.
