Khandoker Asef Safa Kabir is a professional academic with a great deal of enthusiasm for research, creativity and innovation. He has promising academic and professional track records. He has completed his M.Sc. in Management and Organizational Innovation at The School of Business and Management of Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL), U.K. with a Distinction.

QMUL is a public research university in the heart of London, U.K. and a member of the Russell Group Universities, which is an alliance of highest ranking research universities in the United Kingdom. QMUL has ranked as one of the top 150 universities in the world and one of the top 20 universities in the U.K. according to the QS World University Rankings (2014-15). 

In his Masters, Mr. Asef obtained the highest marks in his program, and 3rd highest across 7 M.Sc. programs, which had students from more than 40 countries of the world. Prior to his M.Sc. Mr. Asef has completed his BBA (Major in Marketing) at NSU, School of Business with a CGPA above 3.80 on 4.00. He was entitled to the 'SUMMA CUM LAUDE' (Highest Academic Praise) distinction for his outstanding academic achievements at NSU.

His book titled 'Business Ethics and CSR Education in Bangladesh' has been published by LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany.

The research interests of Mr. Khandoker Asef Safa Kabir revolves around a diverse range of topics including Strategic Management, Organizational Innovation, Knowledge Management, Organizational Behaviour, Technology in Business, Social Business, Business Ethics, Telecommuting, Corporate Governance, CSR, Consumer Behaviour and Strategic Marketing.

He is particularly interested in issues like how organizations are linked to their broader socio-cultural and socioeconomic environments, and how a strategic approach in management can address needs of all key stakeholders of the organization, especially through systematic integration of technology, innovation, ethics, global awareness and a strong strategic emphasis on both micro and macro contexts of business.

Another key area of focus of Mr. Kh. Asef Safa Kabir is investigating the attributes and skills that are imperative in smart and effective managers in the 21st century, and how such attributes and skills can be developed in business students through innovative teaching and practical methodologies. His research approach is multidisciplinary in nature, emerging out of a broader holistic perspective, concentrating on the links between business and its broader social, economic, environmental, cultural, global, and historical contexts.
