                 - create support materials for the Therap system and the different

                 - deal with the customer issues both online and offline regarding the
                   Therap system.

                   US regions.

           3. Procurement and Sourcing officer for Novartis Bangladesh

                 Core Responsibilites:

                 - manage the daily deadlines for procurement section and keep track of
                   all the medical and building materials schedules to arrive from abroad.

                 - maintain a healthy relationship with both the local and international
                   suppliers.

                 - negotiate the pricing and different policy with the suppliers and
                   distributors.

                 - create purchase orders with SAP and place orders of materials
                   requested by the other departments

                 - ensure a safe and timely delivery by working together with Bangladesh
                   customs and other logistics department.

                 - attend company meetings to note the different status of the medical and
                   non medical materials that is necessary and also to present the current
                   status of the required materials.

 Skills & Knowledge:   
               Computer skills:
                      Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Internet and
                      SAP system

               Language skills:
                      IELTS : Score of 7.5
                      Efficient and fluent in communicating in English & Bengali.
                      Well understanding of Hindi

              Personal skills:
                    - Eligibility in communicating and negotiating
                    - Ability of working both as a team leader and player
                    - Can work for long hours
                    - Traveling is not a problem

Mr. Emran is a full-time lecturer in the department of Marketing and International Business of North South University School of Business completed his BBA from North South University with a dual major in marketing and accounting followed by his MSc. in International Strategic Marketing and graduated with Merit from the University of Glasgow, UK.

He has been a part of digital and online marketing in Therap Services, LLC., a U.S company in Bangladesh for almost two years and has also worked in the procurement department of Novartis Bangladesh Ltd. before joining North South University.

In the field of research, his primary field of interest is brand equity and retailing. He also has interest in the area of consumer behavior and sensual marketing.
