Curriculum Vitae

Upal Mohammad Towfiqul Quadir completed his Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia in November, 2013 and his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Dhaka in November, 2011. Previously he worked as a faculty in International University of Business Agriculture and Technology and also in Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Dhaka. During his tenure in MIST, he also worked in many Detailed Engineering Assessment (DEA) projects of garments factories around Dhaka under Center for Advisory and Testing Services (CATS-MIST). Also he has been working on several research projects such as Behavior analysis of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) jacketed RC slender columns and Development of sustainable green concrete using industrial wastes or by-products since 2014. He has got a number of publications in international peer reviewed technical journals and also has presented his works in a couple of international conferences. He has co-authored a book in the line of building constructions as well.
