Dr. Manik Chandra Shill is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, NSU. Dr. Shill did his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (major in molecular pharmacology) from Tokushima University, Japan. His doctoral thesis focused on 'Development of anti-allergic lead(s) from Ayurvedic plants through the suppression of PKCδ dependent signaling pathway'. He has expertise in isolation of lead(s), synthesis of compounds and molecular pharmacology. He did his undergraduate degree from Pharmacy Discipline, Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh. He also did his MPhil(I) in Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Dhaka University. Dr. Shill has more than 10 years of professional experiences in pharmaceuticals, merket research and in hospital pharmacy. Dr. Shill is highly experienced in hospital and clinical pharmacy management with international training. His current research is focussed on rattional use of drugs, clinical pharmacy and pharmacology.
