Has been involved in teaching and research since 2000. Has led research and program evaluation projects, published articles in peer reviewed journals, and produced reports for the Government of Canada and other agencies and organizations in Canada. Served as a Research Associate at the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) at the University of Manitoba. Currently working as Assistant Professor of Political Science at North South University, Bangladesh. Current research involves investigating the patterns of welfare state programming in the developing countries, elder abuse in developing nations, blue economy in Bangladesh context,  and the best practices in higher education teaching and the determinants of post-secondary educational performances and outcomes.
