Curriculum Vitae

Saquib Rahman joined NSU Law in Spring 2017 as a lecturer. He is a qualified lawyer and is admitted to the bar association of Dhaka. Upon completion of undergraduate and graduate studies in law, criminology and criminal Justice from BRAC and Dhaka University, Saquib chose to specialize in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation (Master of Laws) from Warwick, UK.

Having lost his father Col. Quadrat Elahi Rahman Shafique to bullets and bayonets, Saquib under the banner of his brainchild 'Desh, We're Concerned' over the years has been involved in activism for proper justice of the BDR Pilkhana carnage of February 2009.

Saquib has published at international refereed journals and served at the Editorial Board of the University of Asia Pacific Journal of Law & Policy. He is also an occassional contributor at national dailies.

Saquib Rahman in days to come, plans on publishing more in the arena of corporate governance, international trade laws and intellectual property laws. He also hopes to well expand the horizons of his registered foundation Desh, We're Concerned, and structure it as a secular and pro-liberation think tank, researching for public policy reforms.
