Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
The aim of the introduction
of the pharmacy program in North South University is to prepare students
to be the most competent, responsible, and caring pharmacist or pharmaceutical
scientist. It is designed to produce the skilled and efficient professionals
to manage pharmaceutical industries, hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy
services and other government body related to health services and research
organizations. The curriculum offered is very competitive with national
and international universities, students following successful completion
of this program will be able to conduct higher studies and work at home
and abroad without any difficulties.
The faculties of the department are renowned professors with bright academic
and research aptitude which will ensure the quality education, generate
profound research and analytical skill.
The Bachelor of Pharmacy is 4 years degree program. The total credit offered
is 155. The curriculum include sound knowledge on organic and inorganic
chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, medicinal
chemistry, physiology, and anatomy, pharmacology, hospital and clinical
pharmacology, community pharmacy, toxicology, pharmacognosy, biopharmaceutics,
pharmaceutical engineering, pharmaceutical marketing, pharmacy law etc.
The student will conduct advanced research on drug discovery, drug bioavailability,
drug formulation, pharmaceutical marketing, molecular biology, pharmacology,
analytical chemistry etc. |
