The first course for computer science majors and other students with a deep interest in the subject. The course introduces such fundamental concepts in computing as data abstraction, algorithms, dynamic data structures, and complexity theory. Implementation is done in a formalized pseudo code only. An introduction to ethics in computer science including philosophical ethics theories.
