It surveys the socio-economic features and studies of the macro-economic performance of the economy of Bangladesh within the context of socio-political reality; sectoral development and analysis of the sectors in a general equilibrium framework; agriculture, industry, foreign trade and foreign aid in Bangladesh; financial institutions and monetary management as well as fiscal policy in Bangladesh; technology, human resource development and the long term performance of Bangladesh.
