ECO 329 - Contemporary Issues in Global Economy

Course Detail: Analysis in depth of selected current issues and policy problems of the international economy, including (but not restricted to) the following: reform of the international monetary system; role of the General Agreements on Tariffs and Trade and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in expanding trade between the developed and developing economies; problems of stabilizing international commodity markets; and balance-of-payments problems of selected countries and various trade blocs in the global economy.
