Development of the modern short story in world literature. The Student should be familiar with the history of short story, its structure, elements and types and terminology used in the criticism of short story. The teacher will select short stories from different ages and from different literatures preferable literatures other then English and make a text book out of those stories. The Stories should be an English translation.
