This is an advanced level of ECO 406. The course is designed to study contemporary economic ideas, methodology and issues. The course is expected to cover the devel-opment in microeconomics, macroeconomics, heterodox economics, evolutionary eco-nomics, and new institutionalism. Besides these, the course is also designed to deal with contemporary issues including Islamic economic thought. Lastly, but not the least students will have a lecture on the philosophy of economics.
