This course is designed for the student to make them familiar with identification, standardization and characterization of organic molecules used in pharmaceutical preparation; studies of degradation pattern and stability of drugs; research skill development in the areas of natural product chemistry, drug design and synthesis and drug metabolite studies- 1H-nmr; 13C-nmr; EIMS; GC-MS; Elemental analysis and hplc methods.
