This course is designed to teach key metabolic pathways, for example glycolysis and the citric acid cycle. Students will be expected to understand how metabolic pathways are controlled and regulated; how metabolic energy is being utilized. Catalytic mechanism of certain important reactions of metabolic pathways will also be discussed.
