Course Detail: Basic microbiology laboratory techniques, microscopes and microscopy, methods of cultivation of microorganisms; biochemical tests for identification of bacteria. Microscopy: Bright field, dark field, fluorescence, phase contrast, electron microscopy, principles and applications, or microscopic Heat sterilization: Sterilization by dry heat and moist heat, Bacteria: morphology, nutritional requirements, growth, preservation of pure cultures, Control of microbial growth.
