Training on Managing Change for Innovation for ERD Officials, Ministry of Finance

South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) of North South University has partnered with Economic Relations Division of Ministry of Finance to extend the academic support in a two-day-long training session for the officials of Economic Relations Division (ERD) under Ministry of Finance, titled Managing Change for Innovation held on 19-20th September, 2018 at the premise of ERD. The aim of such training is to equip the officials with up to date skills and knowledge on Innovation and change management to manage the forthcoming challenges after elevating to the middle-income country. The faculty members of SIPG conducted this training program. The sessions of the training combined with the theoretical aspects of Innovation and Change Management as well as hands-on application of the theory through various tools.  The Economic Relations Division is the focal point of the government for interfacing development partners and coordinates all external assistance inflows into the country. The inaugural session and the first day of the training held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICIC) and the second day of the training held at National Economic Council Committee Room -1.

 


 In the inauguration ceremony, Professor Dr. Gowhor Rizvi, International Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of Government of Bangladesh attended as chief guest. Mr. N M Zeaul Alam, Secretary (Coordination and Reforms) Cabinet Division and Mr. Sudipto Mukerjee, Country Director, UNDP Bangladesh graced the session as the special guest.
