The NSU Writing Center is not a grammar clinic, per se; it is a hub for learning, instead. We believe that compelling writing is not only about choosing words, it is also about deep thinking, posing great questions, and articulating your ideas clearly. At the NSU Writing Center, our mission is to foster the development of critical thinking and rhetorical rigor. Instead of telling you what to write, we are trying to equip you with necessary strategies and techniques that will allow you to build your own ideas in such a way that your writing becomes intellectually enriched, factually relevant, and meaningful.

Whether you’re from Business, Engineering, Health & Life Sciences, or the Humanities & Social Sciences, you are entitled to our services. You can simply walk-in or schedule an appointment according to your convenience through the Services section on RDS. Each 30-minute session is designed to equip you with the strategies to tackle challenges at any stage of the writing process, from preliminary English courses including ENG102, ENG103, ENG105, or ENG216 to more advanced research and academic writing. Best of all, our sessions are completely free of charge, and our tutors are available every day from 9 am to 6 pm except Friday.
