Curriculum Vitae

 

Mr. Mohammed Evan is teaching as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing and International Business at the School of Business and Economics, NSU. As a business enthusiast, he has always excelled in academics, and communication, later utilizing both of these exceptional skills throughout the years as a faculty. In terms of conducting and participating in research, topics such as Branding, E-Business, Digital Marketing, and Startups are some of the sectors he has always prioritized.

Currently, Mr. Evan is a Coordinator of NSUSN who strongly believes in building opportunities for aspiring innovators and working towards a sustainable economy. He has provided hands-on guidance and developed youth training programs with local and international mentors for startup founders, and conducted KPI sessions as a spokesperson for NSU Startups Next. One of his notable contributions to NSUSN includes securing funds worth one million (BDT) from Sajida Foundation.

Mr. Evan also served as the Faculty Advisor of The Marketing Club of NSU from 2017 to 2019. His role during his tenure was to lead a team of Executive members with different strategic visions. During his term, TMC initiated its first National Digital Marketing competition in Bangladesh, famously known as “#Marketing”. 

Mr. Evan completed his Master's from Macquarie University at Sydney in Australia, where he finished his Mcom specialization in Marketing. He received his BBA with a major in Marketing Finance & Accounting from NSU, Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

Mr. Evan has exposure to an international incubator at Macquarie University Incubation Center, where he worked as a part-time graduate student worker for the period of his master’s. His role as a graduate student worker was to assist the core team to operate different operations required in the incubation of the cohorts.
