Dr. Nazlee Siddiqui has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, 2012) in management from Western Sydney University, Australia. Over the last 20 years, she has led a portfolio of research, teaching, and industry engagement, demonstrating success in leadership and organizational management capacity development. Her research portfolio includes industry funding worth AUS$ 3.1 million, comprising research projects for better knowledge management programs, leadership excellence, and addressing inequity in health and business.

    and cultural norms of individual government organisations in Australia.

I am a mixed methods researcher with a primary focus on two domains of management: one, work environment and human resource development. Two, an integrated health and, social care system. My research portfolio includes industry funding worth AUS$ 3.1 million (where I am a co-investigator) and collaborative health projects (refer to section 5 in this CV).  Most of these funded projects, were with Australian Government health bodies. Tin general, my research contributes to workforce capability development and strategic planning in business and health.  

During my tenure at University of Tasmania, three Higher Degree Research students have successfully completed their Doctorate and PhD under my supervision.

Completion of Doctorate study in Health Services Management in the year 2020.

Title: Family Assisted Passive Exercising of Unconscious Patients in the Intensive Care Unit: Does it make a difference?

 

Research Design: Prospective, comparative, interventional and mixed methods study (i.e., Quantitative Survey and Focus Group Discussions). The study was conducted in two general ICUs in a publicly funded tertiary and quaternary referral hospital in Sydney, Australia.

Title: Evaluating the Healthcare Professionals' Perceptions about the Adoption of Electronic Health Records in Primary Care Centres in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia.

 

Research Design: Quantitative study by survey with healthcare professionals working with EHRs in primary care centres in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia.
