I am Shahid Hossain currently working as a Senior Lecturer of Management of North South University. From Fall 2014 to Fall 2015, I also held the position of Department Chair (In-Charge) of the Department of Management.

• Responsible for maintaining compliance procedures issued by Dept. of Labor and Internal Revenue Service for 85+ companies throughout the United States.
• Maintain client contacts pertaining to solving 401(k) problems and other compliance related issues with clients, trust, and record keeping system.
• Yearend reconciliation between trust and record keeping systems and resolving various discrepancies between what was traded by the trust versus what was actually posted onto OMNI- our customized record keeping system.
• Producing yearend financial disclosure for the IRS and Dept. of Labor and completing 5500 Forms - a compliance issue by the Dept. of Labor.
• Year round nondiscrimination testing for all the 85+ defined benefit plans to make sure that all employees are being equally benefited by the 401(k) plans offered by the sponsors and taking corrective measurement if plans fall outside of compliance.
• Calculation of earnings, issuing appropriate refunds, and reporting to the clients for 401(k) plans and year round financial activities.
