Dr. Mohammad Hayatun Nabi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at North South University. In 2021, he received his Ph.D. in Occupational Health and Safety from the Faculty of Public Health at Mahidol University. In 2002, Dr. Nabi graduated as a Physician from the Shaheed Mansur Ali Medical College at the University of Dhaka. In 2005 and 2007, he completed his Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Health Services Management (MHSM) from the University of Western Sydney, respectively. Dr. Nabi began his career at North South University as a Lecturer in 2011. His current research focuses on public health issues such as health-related quality of life, occupational health and safety, substance use disorders, and non-communicable diseases. Till now, Dr. Nabi has published more than 50 papers in reputed international journals. He is also the Academic Editor of PLOSONE, an international peer-reviewed journal. He has been continuing his collaborations with faculty members and researchers at Mahidol University, the University of Western Sydney, the University of Turku, and the University of Oulu.
