Dr. Preeti Jain is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North South University. She obtained her PhD from Jadavpur University, India. Her teaching expertise includes courses on Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Basic Pathology and Toxicology, Biochemistry & Cell biology and Pharmaceutical technology. Her current research focuses on the analysis of multiple antibiotic resistance and heavy metal tolerance in bacteria. She also has a strong interest in the screening of medicinal plant extracts for various pharmacological activities and evaluation of traditional and herbal medicines.
