Curriculum Vitae

 

Dr. Zerina Shabnaz Akkas is an Assistant Professor of the Department of History and Philosophy, North South University, Bangladesh. Dr. Zerina joined at NSU in January 2018. She obtained her PhD in International Political Economy in 2010 from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, where she also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow from December 2010 to December 2011. She later worked as a Project Coordinator on the Strengthening Child Protection System (SCPS) Project for Friends In Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB). Before joining NSU, Dr. Zerina also worked as a Research Fellow at Bangladesh Institute of Social Research Trust (BISRT), Lalmatia, Dhaka.
