Ms. Aurchie Rahman has completed her secondary level of studies at Udayan Bidyalaya and higher secondary studies at Viquarunnisa Noon College, Dhaka. During her graduate studies she was admitted to the Department of Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology at Dhaka University.

Her first job after completion of academic studies was that of an Executive, research and development division, at the Orion Pharma Ltd. She then worked in the Advanced Seed Research and Biotechnology Centre, ASRBC, a subsidiary of ACI Seed Company, as a Scientific Officer.

She completed her MSc in Molecular Medicine (Cancer) at the University of Sheffield. She completed her thesis project on “The Effects of Differential VEGFA Isoform Expression on Ovarian Cancer Cell Biology” at the Department of Oncology, University of Sheffield.

At North South University, Ms. Aurchie Rahman is currently engaged in teaching courses in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science and Microbiology.
