 Curriculum Vitae

Ms. Nausheen Saba Siraj is a senior lecturer, who is currently working in the department of English and Modern Languages at North South University. She has been teaching in NSU since 2011 and had been promoted to the rank of senior lecturer in 2019. Prior to working in NSU, Ms. Siraj also taught English to BSc. in Nursing students in the Bangladesh army owned Armed Forces Medical Institute. She had also been involved with conducting teacher training sessions in BAF Shaheen College, Tejgaon, Dhaka, OGSB Hospital's BSc. in Nursing Institute, and also attended as an expert in a Save the Children’s project.

Ms. Siraj did her BA in English from North South University and graduated with Magna Cum Laude in 2008. Following that, she did her M.Ed. in TESOL from the University of Sydney, Australia and graduated with Merit in 2010. She has been actively teaching English composition, English language history, research methodology, and public speaking in NSU. Aside from teaching, she is also active in research and her notable publications include a co-authored journal article in the Journal of Education2 and a recent co-authored book chapter published by IGI Global1. She peer reviewed journal articles for the Journal of Education. Currently, she is involved as a co-investigator in a research project that has been granted the prestigious institution owned CTRG research grant. Apart from academic contributions, Ms. Siraj has also been contributing to the institution coordinating the various composition courses and leading organizing committees in international conferences and departmental events, such as Language League.
