WELCOME
I am Dr. Saleh Md. Shahriar, an Assistant Professor in the Department of History & Philosophy (DHP) at North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladeh. NSU is one of the pioneering seats of higher education and learning in Bangladesh. This brief introduction is about my credentials, acquired skills and experiences, and future professional goals and expectations.
I achieved my Ph.D. in Economics from Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), one of the top public universities in Yangling, China. I did my B. S. S. (Honors) and Masters in Political Science. I have published a good number of research papers in several high-quality journals indexed globally in the Scopus ( Elsevier, Netherlands), Clarivate WoS, ABDC ( Australia) & ABS (UK). My chapters are also included in various edited books and global encyclopedias. I work as a peer reviewer and assistant editor of several globally reputed journals. I have presented my research papers in different international conferences and seminars. I look forward to making impactful contributions to the larger fields of Economics, Political Science and History. I am especially interested in Asian Studies with a focus on the global emergence of China and its economic as well as geopolitical implications in Asia. In addition to my linguistic skills in Bangla & English, I have officially passed the Chinese Language Proficiency Test (HSK) held in China.
