Kazi Fahmida Rahman is currently working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry & Microbiology. She started her journey in NSU from spring 2019 semester as a part time faculty. However, from fall 2019 she joined the department as a core Microbiology faculty. Since then she is teaching core Microbiology theory and laboratory courses along with small scale wet lab research projects. In addition to that, currently she is working as an assistant proctor.
She is an alumni of the Biochemistry & Microbiology Department. Completed her B.Sc in Microbiology from NSU with Summa Cum Laude Award and M.Sc in Microbiology and Infection from University of Birmingham, with Distinction.
Her research interest focuses on gut microbiome, proteomics and clinical microbiology.
