ADVOCATE MR. SAQUIB RAHMAN attained a Bachelor of Laws from BRAC University, a Master of Social Sciences in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Dhaka, and a Master of Laws in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick, UK from where he graduated with 'merit'. He has publications in acclaimed law journals, and is an avid contributor to national dailies. Mr. Rahman is a lawyer of the Dhaka Bar Association and served as a Lecturer at the University of Asia Pacific prior to joining North South University. Additionally, he is credited with hosting the NSU Law Lecture Series. Mr. Rahman, over the years has been involved in activism for proper justice of the BDR Pilkhana carnage of February 2009, that killed 57 Bangladesh Army Officers in Dhaka, including his father Col. Quadrat Elahi Rahman Shafique, ndc, psc. As leisure, he enjoys swimming.
