ADVOCATE SAQUIB RAHMAN is an academic lawyer teaching full-time in the Department of Law at North South University. He has research publications in acclaimed law journals and is an avid contributor to national dailies. He is also the Editor of Progress Magazine.

Saquib served as a Lecturer at the University of Asia Pacific prior to joining North South University as a Lecturer in the Spring of 2017. He was promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer in the Fall of 2020. He was vested with the responsibility of Faculty Advisor of the North South University Ethics & Diversity Club (2020-2022).

Over the past decade, Saquib has been devoted to activism for proper justice of the BDR Pilkhana carnage that killed 57 Bangladesh Army officers in Dhaka on 25-26 February 2009, including his father, Col. Quadrat Elahi Rahman Shafique, ndc, psc.

Saquib’s last degree was awarded from the Warwick Law School, UK.
