Curriculum Vitae

Muinuddin Ahmed began lecturing at North South University's (NSU) School of Business in September 2014. He earned a B.Sc. in Accounting in 2005, then joined the prestigious Howrey LLP law firm in Washington, D.C., in 2006. Founded in 1956 and dissolving in 2011, Howrey LLP specialized in antitrust, IP, and litigation, employing 75 in accounting and finance and 5,000 lawyers. After leaving in 2009, he consulted for Catholic Charities in Washington, D.C., for several years, earning his MBA in Finance during this time. Returning to Bangladesh, he joined HodaVasi Chowdhury & Co. before joining NSU. A 12-year U.S. resident, he was a Phi Theta Kappa scholar and American Marketing Association volunteer during his undergraduate years. His research interests include corporate and nonprofit governance. He teaches Introduction to Financial Accounting, Introduction to Taxation,Introduction to Finance,  Introduction to Managerial Accounting, Auditing & Assurance Services, Intermediate Accounting, Taxation and Accounting Information Systems.
