About

Amreen Talukdar is a Lecturer in the Department of Management at North South University. She is passionate about creating an engaging learning environment that encourages students to think critically, be creative, and build a practical understanding of management and entrepreneurship. She has taught courses such as Entrepreneurship, Business Communication, and Organisational Management.

She holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration with a major in International Marketing from Aalborg University Business School, Denmark, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom.

Alongside her teaching, Amreen is involved in different academic and administrative activities at North South University. She is currently serving as the Coordinator of NSU Startups Next and has also contributed to research work, student engagement activities, and faculty service roles within the School of Business and Economics.

Corporate Experience

Amreen Talukdar worked as a Project Manager and Consultant at WEXO, Denmark, where she was involved in the rollout of the company’s e-commerce services in Norway, Sweden, and the UK. She worked closely with clients, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and project delivery. She also led Magento training and certification for companies in Norway, strengthening client capabilities and platform adoption. This experience provided her with strong practical experience in project coordination, client communication, and international business operations.

Amreen Talukdar’s research interests lie in entrepreneurship, innovation, digital platforms, consumer behaviour, and emerging business models. Her work particularly reflects an interest in women’s entrepreneurship, technology-driven ventures, and the changing nature of business in developing and global contexts. Through her research and publications, she has engaged with topics such as AI adoption, women in the tech startup ecosystem, omnichannel consumer preferences, digital payment solutions, platform-based services, social enterprise, and sustainable business practices. Her broader academic interest is in understanding how innovation and entrepreneurship can create practical, inclusive, and impactful solutions in contemporary markets.
