About

Md Taimur Ahad is a researcher and academic in Computer Science (MIS) and Biomedical Engineering. He focuses on Information Systems, Deep Learning, IoT, and Blockchain to tackle social, economic, and technological challenges. Taimur aims to empower overlooked communities, promote equity, and accelerate healthcare progress using digital technology. His research areas include IoT, Big Data Analysis, Parallel Computing, and Blockchain.

Taimur’s work explores smart infrastructure and aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals. He has researched IoT and blockchain integration to enhance data security and product traceability, particularly in pharmaceutical supply chains. His research addresses transparency and risks in decentralized environments.

Beyond IoT and blockchain, Taimur studies mobile computing, human-centered information systems, and data-driven models for industry and society. For instance, his early research focused on mobile-based systems supporting supply chain functions in Bangladesh's garment industry.

Taimur’s publications also cover machine learning and data analysis in healthcare, especially deep learning models for disease detection. His work contributes to digital health and predictive analytics, while his core focus remains in computer science.
