My research focuses on identifying and quantifying climate-sensitive diseases, vulnerable populations, and adaptation processes. I am particularly interested in locally led adaptation innovations and the impact of environmental issues on health and the economy.

Additional areas of interest include climate migration, air and water quality, heat-related hospital admissions, salinity, and food security in the coastal regions of Bangladesh. I also explore the relationship between climate change and infectious diseases, particularly vector-borne diseases.

Furthermore, I have research interest on broad areas of public health and Non-Communicable Diseases.
