About

Nahaly Nafisa Khan is a Lecturer in the department of Media, Communication, and Journalism (DMCJ) at North South University. She earned her MA in Communication from Virginia Tech, USA and her BSS in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Previously, she worked at The Daily Star, taking on sub-editing and reporting roles at the newsroom. Her research interests include political communication, visual analysis, rhetorical criticisms, representation issues in the media in both South Asian and Western contexts.
