Dr. Anas’ research focuses on democratic transformation in post-revolutionary societies and the politics of South Asia. His scholarly work delves into the intricate politics of migration, displacement, and identity construction in Asian borderlands. He also examines the emerging phenomena of digital diasporas and the political agency of diasporic communities in resisting authoritarianism across Asia
