About

Mrittika Anan Rahman is a Lecturer in the Media, Communication, and Journalism (MCJ) program under the Department of Political Science and Sociology at North South University. She earned her MA in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA and her BA in English Literature from North South University, Dhaka. She holds a graduate certificate in teaching and has received recognition for her work as a graduate instructor. Mrittika has a professional background in the print media sector focusing on feature writing and editing. Her research interests include rhetorical criticism, media studies, mediated representations of women and gender, and South Asian studies.
